Rui Cardoso Martins is the guest of the next “Meeting with the writer” in Olhão

Journalist Rui Cardoso Martins will be the guest of another “Meeting with the Writer” to be held this Saturday, November 10, at 15 pm, at the José Mariano Gago Municipal Library, in Olhão. 

«The public in Olhão will thus have the opportunity to meet and converse with one of the most acclaimed national writers, whose talent is multiplied as a journalist, columnist and screenwriter», says the Chamber of Olhão.

Author of “What if I would like to die very much” (2006), “Let the invisible man pass” (Grand Prix of the Portuguese Association of Writers APE, 2009), “If it were easy, it was for others” (2012) and “The Bone of the Butterfly” (2014), Rui Cardoso Martins has been writing, since 2016, the chronicle “Levante-se o réu”, published on Sundays in Jornal de Notícias. He is also a columnist on Wednesday mornings at Antena 1, under the heading “O thread of the skein”.

The author, founder of the Público newspaper, is also co-founder of Produções Fictícias and co-author of the historical humor programs Contra-Informação, Herman Enciclopédia, Conversa da Treta and O Filho da Treta.
