Protocol wants to help fight domestic violence in the Algarve

This is a protocol that brings together various entities, from PSP, PJ, GNR, passing through the ARS and Centro Hospitalar e Universitário do Algarve

Articulate and improve the response, in the Algarve, to the phenomenon of domestic violence. This is the objective of a protocol that will be signed on the 26th of November, at 14:30 pm, in the auditorium of the Municipal Library, in Faro.

This protocol will be signed by the following entities: Public Ministry, National Republican Guard, Public Security Police, Judiciary Police, Regional Health Administration of Algarve, University Hospital Center of Algarve, General Directorate of Reinsertion and Prison Services, the Algarve Social Security Centre, the Sotavento and Barlavento Algarvian medical-legal offices, the Association for Victim Support and the sixteen Committees for the Protection of Children and Young People in the Algarve.

The objective is, therefore, "to articulate and improve the response in the Algarve to the phenomenon of domestic violence" with regard to criminal investigation, prevention, intervention to protect minors and adults involved and referral of victims to the most appropriate support structures to your needs.
