A petition, signed by «more than 800 nurses in the Algarve», will be delivered this Friday, November 30, at 10 am, to the Hospital and University Center of the Algarve and the Regional Health Administration (ARS).

In question, says the Union of Portuguese Nurses, it is "the incorrect scoring of points that the administrations of Centro Hospitalar do Algarve and ARS Algarve have decided to apply to nurses and which will hinder many in their progression into one or two pay positions."

The Ministers of Finance and Health, parliamentary groups and the Central Administration of the Health System will be made aware of this petition, which will also be handed over to deputies elected by the Algarve, to whom the SEP has already requested a meeting.

According to the union, the deputies of the CDS and the Left Bloc have even scheduled a meeting with the union to discuss this issue.
