António Costa participates in PS Parliamentary Conferences in the Algarve

Parliamentary Days will travel throughout the Algarve

António Costa, secretary-general of the PS, will participate, this Saturday, 24 November, in a Parliamentary Conference that will tour the 16 municipalities of the Algarve.

The initiative, dedicated to debating issues related to boosting the economy, such as tourism, innovation, knowledge transfer and the next state budgets, starts this Friday, 23 November.

The Parliamentary Journeys begin at 13:00, with a visit led by Carlos César, president of the Parliamentary Group, to Culatra, followed by a visit to the WWTP Faro-Olhão and two of the companies: Sun Concept and Necton.

The PS deputies will split into eight groups to visit all the municipalities of Barlavento and Sotavento in the Algarve between Friday and Saturday, making contact with good examples of Portuguese companies.

On Saturday, the deputies meet in Portimão, where the secretary general of the PS António Costa, will make the opening speech of the Parliamentary Conferences, at 15:00, before the parliamentary group, with the participation of several guests, will debate the role of Portugal in the tourism of tomorrow and the challenges of the next State budgets.

On Sunday, the Parliamentary Conferences resume their work with a discussion dedicated to the theme of innovation and knowledge transfer. The President of the Parliamentary Group, Carlos César, makes the closing speech of the Conference, at 12:00 pm, followed by a lunch with the participation of socialist activists.
