Portugal Cup: Armacenenses receive Vitória de Setúbal and Portimonense goes to Cova da Piedade

Silves, from the District Championship, receives the Chaves (Satellite)

Armacenenses will host Vitória de Setúbal, from Primeira Liga, and Portimonense will visit Cova da Piedade, from Segunda Liga, in the third round of the Portuguese Cup.

The draw, held this morning, also dictated, in relation to the other teams in the Algarve, that Silves, from the District Championship, will host the Chaves (Satellite), from the Portuguese Championship, that Farense will play at home against Arouca and that the Louletano visits Águeda, from the Portuguese Championship.

Portimonense will enter the field for the first time in this competition, as it was exempted until this round, for playing in the Primeira Liga. All top-tier teams play away from home in this tie.

Until reaching the third round, Silves eliminated Olhanense, in the first round, and Paredes, also from the Portuguese Championship, in the second.

Armacenenses, on the other hand, left Juventude de Évora and Beneditense behind. Louletano, to reach this stage, beat Amora and Valadares Gaia.

Farense, who only entered the field in the second round, eliminated Portalegrense.

The Portuguese Cup third round matches are scheduled for the 21st of October.
