The District Command of Faro of PSP will celebrate its 90th anniversary with activities for various tastes, this Wednesday, the 31st of October, in Tavira.
The program of commemorations for the anniversary included a demonstration of the means of this police force and a concert for children, in addition to a solemn ceremony and police parade.
The party started at 9:00 am, with a mass at the Igreja do Carmo de Tavira. At 10:00 am, an exhibition of police media opened to the public, which can be visited until 17:00 pm, in the Municipal Garden of Tavira.
The official ceremonies start at 10:45 am, with a police stop at the Municipal Library, a cultural space that hosted the solemn ceremony, where the PSP's activity in the Algarve in 2018 will be assessed and decorations will be awarded.
At 14:30 pm, the Municipal Market hosts a concert for children, by the PSP Symphony Band.
At 16 pm, the Cinotécnico Group of this police force will demonstrate what teams made up of a man and a dog can do.
