The Banda Filarmónica de Odemira promotes, this Saturday, October 27th, from 21 pm, a Cultural Night at the Cineteatro Camacho Costa.
As part of the World Music Day celebrations (marked on October 1st), the organization invited Grupo Atar e Pôr ao Fumeiro and the duo FoleSax (António Ledo on accordion and Daniel Batista on saxophone) to perform. The night will end with the performance of the Banda Filarmónica de Odemira.
The Banda Filarmónica de Odemira was founded on December 15, 1989 and currently has about 25 musicians, mostly young.
Daniel Batista has been the conductor of the Banda Filarmónica since April 2013.
