An “Erasmus+” project for students and teachers, which includes a trip to Norway, will be presented this Wednesday, October 3rd, at 14:30 pm, in the auditorium of the Escola Secundária Pinheiro e Rosa, in Faro.

This activity intends, through a presentation by the participants of each mobility (exchange trip), to publicize the different “Erasmus+” projects existing in the Pinheiro e Rosa School Grouping, to share practices and reflections and to promote the discussion on how these activities can contribute to development of the educational project of this group.

In this first activity, mobility to Norway will be presented, within the scope of the “Teach and Learn – New possibilities for Teachers and Learner” project, which has a partnership with schools in Denmark, Norway, Finland, Germany, in addition to the Pinheiro e Rosa Secondary School.

“Schools, as the basis for training future generations, need an interaction of dedicated teachers and confident students. To develop the basic and transversal skills of our students, teachers must always be up to date and have a perfect sense that the proximity established between the teacher and the students – the good pedagogical relationship – contributes to full education», says the School Pine and Rose.

“The reality of the XNUMXst century requires high quality education and a growing level of internationality. This fact requires teachers who are interested in understanding the dynamics and situations that influence their students' lives, which is fundamental for establishing a mutual relationship that facilitates learning», he adds.

“Teach and Learn, new possibilities for teachers and learners” is an Erasmus+ project Key Action 2 – Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices between schools, 2017-2019, and involves partners from Denmark (coordinator), Norway, Germany, Finland and Portugal.

This project has three guidelines. The first is “New possibilities for teachers”, which includes teacher training in innovative student-centred methodologies and the use of Information and Communication Technologies in learning situations (introduction to Open Source Software).

The second is related to "New possibilities for students", with the dynamization of "Erasmus Days" under the themes "Youth of today", "Youth in a digital world", "Youth and values in Europe", in which it is intended the creation of events centered on the cultural values of each country.

Finally, the project also addresses “Teaching/learning methodologies, from theory to practice – challenges and possibilities”, whose objective is to debate the challenges that students in the XNUMXst century pose to today's teachers.
