Algarve Youth Summit takes place in Tavira

Municipality of Odemira will also be invited to present its youth projects

The Algarve Youth Summit takes place on the 19th of October, at the Maria Nova Lounge Hotel, in Tavira.

This initiative is part of the cycle of youth summits that the National Federation of Youth Associations (FNAJ) is organizing in all regions of the country.

The objective is “to listen to young people and challenge them to contribute with new ideas and suggestions so that, based on the “Strategic Plan for Youth in Local Government” and in conjunction with youth technicians and mayors, local policies can be defined based on a structured dialogue», explains the Câmara de Tavira.

In July, Tavira was invited to participate in the Youth Summit of Alentejo, having presented the 1st Youth Action Plan of Tavira, the Municipal Free Time Program “Tavira – Active Holidays” and the Tavira Youth Week.

For the Algarve Youth Summit, the organization invited Odemira to present its youth projects.

The Algarve Youth Summit is organized by the FNAJ – National Federation of Youth Associations, in partnership with the Municipality of Tavira, the Erasmus + Youth in Action Program and the IPDJ – Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth.
