The 11 Hopes of Faro, is the new leader of the 1st Division of the Algarve District Football Championship, after beating Messinense by 0-2, in the second round of the competition, played this Saturday, 29 September.
Moncarapachense also won this journey (0-2 at Quarteira) and, despite adding the same six points as 11 Esperanças, is in 2nd place.
In the remaining games, Imortal beat Esperança de Lagos by 1-0, while Almancilense drew with Lagoa (1-1).
The Lusitano from Vila Real de Santo António thrashed Guia by 4-1. As for the game between Silves, team that guaranteed, this Sunday, the passage to the third round of the Portuguese Cup, and Quarteirense was postponed.
