23 students from the Escola Internacional do Algarve receive the Infante D. Henrique award

Award «plays an increasingly relevant role as a differentiating factor» in the curriculum

23 young students from the Escola Internacional do Algarve will receive the bronze medal of the Infante D. Henrique award, this Wednesday, October 17th, at 13 pm, in the library of this school, in Porches (Lagoa).

The Infante D. Henrique award «plays an increasingly relevant role» for the youth curriculum, «as a testimony of their preparation for professional and personal challenges and certification of the acquisition of skills», says Escola Internacional.

This award is the Portuguese version of “The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award”, founded in 1956 by the Duke of Edinburgh.

In Portugal, the award was founded in 1988, in Porto, by Dom Duarte, Duke of Bragança, who, in addition to being founder, is President of Honor.

In addition to the direction of the Nobel International School and the association of the Infante D. Henrique prize, the initiative will be attended by family and friends of the awarded students.
