Piruka and Diogo Piçarra headline the Youth Week of Tavira

Alongside the music and lots of entertainment, there will be a Youth, Qualification and Inclusion Fair

The Youth, Qualification and Inclusion Week starts today and runs until September 23, in Tavira. The highlight of the program is the concerts by Piruka, on the 21st, and Diogo Piçarra, on the 22nd, both at 22 pm, at Praça da República. On the 00rd, at 23:21 pm, Olívia Ortiz will present the Fashion Tavira 30 fashion show.

Piruka (André Silva), rapper from Madorna, Cascais, became known in the music scene in Portugal after the success of “Tens de Intervir”, inserted in the mixtape “Quatro Cantos”, and the EP “Pára e Pensa”.

In 2017, he presented his first album entitled “Aclara”, a tribute to his daughter Clara. Here stand out three singles “Ca Bu Fla Ma Nau”, “Sirenes” and “Se Eu Não Acordar Amanhã”.

Piruka has been breaking records on the viewing and listening platforms with its hits playing on every radio from north to south and a growing legion of fans.

Your resume already has two Singles platinum and three gold, after releasing two new songs earlier this year.

Diogo Piçarra is the former competitor of talent shows Portuguese television channels that achieved the greatest success in the musical area.

In 2012, he won the SIC contest Idols. Three years later, he released his debut album “Espelho”. In 2016, the singer launches the book entitled “Diogo Piçarra em Pessoa”.

2017 was, so far, the most memorable year of his career with the work “do=s”, which was written and composed by himself. "History" becomes single of gold.

An exciting show is expected in Tavira and shared with the public, where Diogo walks through the greats hits that have marked his career: “Tu e Eu”, “Dialeto”, “True”, “Between the Stars”, “Wall of Love” and the new single “História”, also making known the songs that make up the new disk “do=s”.

In addition to these highlights, the Youth Week includes a diversified program: awareness actions, workshops, training, demonstrations of basic life support, fire control in the kitchen, open classes in modern dance, hip hop, zumba, yoga, dance project. gaming, youtubers, local bands, djs, children's entertainment, entrepreneurship seminar.

There will also be the usual Youth, Qualification and Inclusion Fair that will take place, between 21 and 23, at Jardins do Coreto and Palmeiras, Praça da República, Rua José Pires Padinha and Mercado da Ribeira.

This fair is an exhibition of projects developed by various entities working in the area of ​​youth, training/qualification, social inclusion and intergenerationality. The official opening of the event takes place, on the 21st, at 19:30 pm.

On the stage at Jardim do Coreto, the Choir Group “Pegadas de Santa Maria” from the Santa Maria Parish and Social Center performs on the 21st at 18 pm.

This is followed, at 19 pm, with the performance of young people from Escola Secundária Dr. Jorge Augusto Correia and, 00 minutes later, the band Last Heaven. At 45:20 pm, it's DJ Unoflux's turn and, later, at 30:23 pm, the live act with DJ Viriato Muata and flutist Stelmo Barbosa.

On the 22nd, the animation continues with hip hop (15:30 pm), zumba (16:30 pm) and the concert by the band GIGGY (17:30 pm). At 18:30 pm, in Jardim do Bandstand, the y Nuno Moura, Ricfares and Daiser are waiting for the younger ones. The afternoon ends with a sunset with DJ Di Angello (19:30) and, at 21:15, the moment is one of contemporary dance.

On the 23rd, the afternoon is dedicated to dancing with hum fitness, by the Associação Cultural Artística de Tavira, to contemporary dance, by the Academy of Music of Tavira, and to other styles with the Dance Company “Idade de Ouro” and “Splash”.

The event ends on this day at 21:30 pm, with the fashion show Moda Tavira 2018, at Praça da República, with a presentation by Olívia Ortiz.

The Mercado da Ribeira, between 21 and 23, hosts the Entrepreneurship Show, as well as an area dedicated to Gaming and to technologies with the project game day.
