The Colombian international striker, who distinguished himself as a FC Porto player, was hired by the Portimão club on August 31, the last day of the transfer market.
The 31-year-old was without a club and hadn't played since 2016, when he suffered a serious injury while playing for Guangzhou Evergrande in China.
The South American forward played for three years, at the highest level, for FC Porto, the emblem for which he won the 92st League and a Super Cup and scored 22 goals. From the Portuguese club, he went to Atlético de Madrid, where he was unsuccessful, scoring only three goals in XNUMX games.
