GNR holds 62 people and seizes drugs at the BPM Festival

The detainees were constituted as defendants and subject to a term of identity and residence

The GNR arrested 62 people and seized more than 4 doses of drugs within the scope of the BPM Festival, in the municipality of Lagoa, between 21 and 24 September. In the inspection actions that took place at the Centro de Congressos do Arade, in Parchal, one of the places where the event took place, administrative offenses for drug use were also drawn up.

The vast majority of arrests, 53, were motivated by drug trafficking. Six people were also arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and another for driving without a license.

"2030 doses of MDMA, 790 doses of amphetamines, 778 doses of cocaine, 417 doses of hashish, 44 doses of heroin and seven doses of cannabis" were also seized.

The detainees, aged between 21 and 34, were constituted defendants and subject to a term of identity and residence.
