Faro: CAPa starts a new cycle with concerts by Noiserv and Emmy Curl

Programming cycle serves as preparation for the 5th edition of the DeVIR Meetings

A concert by Noiserv, on 5th October, or the show Välute, on 7th December, are proposals for the new programming cycle of the Algarve Performing Arts Center (CAPa), in Faro.

The band Migna Mala will also give a concert, on the 26th of October, at CAPa. This band has already performed in this space and their work refers to the music of the world and its universe to an imaginary fantasy.

Catarina Miranda aka Emmy Curl will, in turn, give a solo concert at CAPa on December 1st. After his participation in the Festival da Canção with “To smile, I don't need anything”, a theme composed by the Algarve, Júlio Resende, and the album “Navia” will release his next work “Dança da Lua e do Sol”.

Marco Martins, filmmaker and director, will be in residence at CAPa for the start of his new creation, with interpretation by Beatriz Batarda and Romeu Runa, to premiere at Teatro de São Luís in November 2019. They will present to the public a reading staged on the 17th from November.

As for the show Välute, on December 7, it is an imaginary place, a borderland, invisible, where «anything is possible», says CAPa.

The show is created by Rui Neto, with the interpretation of Margarida Cardeal with Cristina Milho, Drica Gomes, Martyn Gama, Roger Madureira, and with the Voices in Repair (Sandra D'Andrade as soloist).

All presentations will start at 21:30 pm. The ticket price is 6 euros, with the exception of the reading staged by Marco Martins, which will have free admission.
