Library of Olhão promotes a cycle of training on early childhood

The objective is to clarify issues raised by those who deal with children on a daily basis

The Library of Olhão will promote a cycle of 10 training actions on early childhood, which will start on 22 September. The sessions will take place monthly and will have the general theme “Parents' school… because children are not born with an instruction manual”.

With this initiative, the library from Olhano intends to clarify questions raised by those who – parents, family members or professionals – deal with children on a daily basis.

The first action is scheduled for the 22nd and 26th of September and will be promoted by Anabela Morte. It will address topics such as "postpartum stress, the role of mother and father, affection, visits to the newborn, or breast milk and breastfeeding", according to the Municipality of Olhão.

On the first day of training, 22 September, the action will take place between 11:00 and 12:30. On the 26th, the action takes place from 17:30 pm to 19:00 pm.

Participation in each of these sessions costs 5 euros and each participant will be awarded a certificate.
