The Orquestra Clássica do Sul's summer program continues in August with very special performances. Concerts with Ala dos Namorados and singer Ana Bacalhau and a regular presence at Festival F, which takes place in Faro, close the 2017/2018 season of the Orchestra.
This Wednesday, 1st of August, the Orchestra presents itself at the Casa do Lago restaurant, in Quinta do Lago, for a dinner followed by a concert. The orchestral direction will be in charge of conductor Rui Pinheiro.
On Saturday, August 4th, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Ala dos Namorados, the Orquestra Clássica do Sul will join the group of Loulé by Nuno Guerreiro, as well as other artists such as Sara Tavares, Shout and Vitorino. The concert takes place at Largo do Monumento Engº Duarte Pacheco, in Loulé, at 22 pm. Tickets cost 00 euros and can be purchased at Cineteatro Louletano and Bol.
After the success of the 2017 edition, Praia da Rocha will once again receive classical sounds in a concert celebrating the summer. On the sand, the Orchestra will perform themes by Sullivan, Grieg or Dvorák, on August 8th, from 19:30 pm . The concert “Música à Beira-Mar” will be orchestrated by conductor José Eduardo Gomes.
