The collection of waste from the ecopoints of Lagoa and other municipalities in the Barlavento Algarvio region will "suffer some constraints" in the coming days, due to the involvement of four teams from the Algar company in fighting the fire that is lashing Monchique and has already spread to the municipalities of Silves and Portimão.
The notice is from the Câmara de Lagoa, at the request of that inter-multi-municipal waste collection company.
«Algar will try to minimize the effects that will be felt in the Barlavento, diverting some means of the Eastern Algarve, a situation that could lead to some dysfunctionalities in this region of the Algarve», he warned.
