The Rancho Folclórico do Calvário was honored by the Câmara de Lagoa with a set of sculptures by artist Teresa Paulino, which were installed in a roundabout in the locality that gives the group its name.

«The artist worked on this sculptural ensemble for half a year, researching popular dance and costumes, and her work now represents three couples from different generations who dance in the roundabout, next to the urban park, unharmed by those passing by», according to the Chamber of Lagoon.

The installation was commissioned by the municipality as part of a project to improve and restore the area for an event space in Calvário.

According to the Câmara de Lagoa, the Rancho Folclorico do Calvário has been developing for 55 years «a work that has taken the traditions of Lagoa beyond doors».
