Aljezur celebrates Municipal Holiday with Cuca Roseta, Dillaz and Miguel Gameiro

Music, 29 bath, crafts and heritage celebrate Aljezur

The commemorations of the Municipal Holiday of Aljezur, which take place on the 28th and 29th of August, will include concerts by Cuca Roseta, Dillaz, Miguel Gameiro and a Multicultural Night, in shades of white. 

The festivities start on the 28th for another edition of “Night A – Multicultural Night” with the dress code White.

Once again, the Historic Area of ​​Aljezur will be the stage for different shows: fado, classical music, various performances, African dance, rock, DJ Set, taverns, appetizers, handicraft and the possibility of visiting the museums of the historical-cultural circuit and environmental.

The “circuit” begins at Jardim da Liberdade, next to the Ribeira de Aljezur, where, among others, the Philharmonic Band of the Bombeiros Voluntários de Aljezur will perform.

The musical moments, exhibitions, performances, travel through the entire historic area up to the Castle, starting at 16 pm, when the traffic in this area of ​​the town is finished. Admission will be free with the party lasting until 00:4 am.

Next to the Castle, the greatest symbol of Aljezur, there will be an intimate concert by Miguel Gameiro. At the end of the night, Dillaz will delight the younger ones, but there will also be music with DJ Wilson Honrado.

The festivities continue on the 29th and, in the morning, the traditional 29th bath will be recreated at Praia de Odeceixe, around 10:00 am, accompanied by musical entertainment, with the presence of a Funkarmónica music group.

At 17:30 pm, the mega sardine and musical entertainment will start at Espaço Multiusos in Aljezur. At 20:00 pm, the musical performances will begin by the Kapittal group and, at 22:00 pm, there is a concert with Cuca Roseta.

The organization is the responsibility of the Municipality of Aljezur and counts on the collaboration of the Social Services of the Municipality, the Humanitarian Association of the Voluntary Firefighters of Aljezur, the Association for the Defense of Historical Heritage of Aljezur, the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Aljezur, of the Cosa Nostra Association, as well as the Tertúlia Association and the Aljezur Parish Council.
