Oceanário shuttle passes through Aljezur

Environmental education passes through the county of Costa Vicentina

The Oceanário Shuttle will be from the 31st of July to the 4th of August at Monte Clérigo beach, in Aljezur.

The Lisbon Oceanarium project on environmental education in motion «invites everyone to understand how the ocean influences us», as well as «our impact on the ocean and what is our role in its conservation, through free playful-pedagogical activities». explains the organization.

The Shuttle aims to actively involve all those who visit it, so that they become agents of change and contribute to the conservation of the ocean and marine biodiversity.

Everyone is invited to “join the movement” and understand how they can contribute to ocean conservation by changing their behavior. Recognizing plastic as one of the greatest threats to the ocean, everyone will learn how they can actively take action through practical advice to redesign their relationship with plastic in their everyday lives.

The Oceanário Shuttle has been traveling around Portugal since 2005 and has already visited more than 209 municipalities in all the country's districts, including autonomous regions, taking the Lisbon Oceanarium mission to more than 249 thousand participants.
