Three new courses reinforce the training offer of TeSP at the University of Algarve

The University of Algarve has open online applications for TeSP courses, the first phase ends on 10 August and the second runs from 18 to 22 September

The University of Algarve, which has open online applications for Professional Higher Technicians (TeSP) courses, it reinforces its training offer with the opening of three new TeSPs: Land Registry, Digital Design and Modeling and Internet Device Programming.

The first phase of applications ends on August 10th, while the second runs from September 18th to 22nd.

In the 2018/19 academic year, the University of the Algarve will thus provide 12 TeSP. These courses last for four academic semesters and 120 credits (ECTS) and lead to a Higher Professional Technician diploma.

They are intended for holders of a secondary education course or legally equivalent qualification, who have passed the particularly appropriate tests, designed to assess the ability to attend Higher Education for those over 23 years of age, or holders of a technological specialization diploma, a professional higher technician diploma or a higher education degree or diploma, seeking professional requalification.

The TeSPs are post-secondary higher education courses, which lead to a professional qualification at level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning.

Testimonies from some students who have already finished or are finishing these courses, highlight the fact that UAlg's TeSPs present a great “theoretical/practical balance”, highlight the “pedagogical support” by the teachers, the fact that they have “guaranteed internships ”, the “direct insertion in the labor market”, and the possibility of “being able to continue studying at UAlg”, entering a degree.
