A fisherman was found dead on the afternoon of Wednesday, 11 July, inside a small dam on private land, in Sítio dos Queimados, in São Marcos da Serra (Silves).
Ao Sul Informação, a GNR source added that it is suspected that the death occurred when the 78-year-old fisherman "set up a net from edge to edge".
"The individual was naked and the clothes were on one of the banks, next to the site," he added. There is no suspicion of crime.
There were 13 operatives, from Firefighters and INEM, in a total of five vehicles.
