56 stands, a record number, will make up the Lagoa Bio Market this Saturday, 28 July, which will bring together healthy food, entertainment and sports, right in the middle of “Praça Vermelha”.
In addition to organic farming products, stalls will offer lovers of healthy living ecological and sustainable groceries such as coffee, and embrace other areas such as ecological clothing and footwear.
This Saturday's program will include, between 11:00 and 12:00, the preparation and tasting of recipes inspired by the paleo diet with chef Telmo Jacinto. It will also be possible to have a massage with Tibetan cups and enjoy the awareness-raising action of the Community Care Unit (UCC) D'Alagoa.
And, because shopping can and should be fun, the Lagoa City Council has prepared zumba classes as the activity of the month for the Lagoa Bio Market, scheduled for 10:00 am and 11:00 am, guided by teachers Carmen Bernardo, Joana Cabrita and Sabrina Clímaco.
These sporting moments will also be enjoyed by the Escolinha classes of the Sport and Recreation Association – Social Cultural Center (ADR-CCS Quinta de S. Pedro) and the CHE Lagoense Cultural and Sport Association, the Lagoa Municipality class – Viva + Program and the Gym MUV.
Until October this year, Praça da República will continue to bring together the local, foreign and tourist community around a positive approach to healthy living.
The next Lagoa Bio Market will be on August 25th, September 29th and October 27th.
