A blood collection campaign takes place on the 15th of August, at Mar Shopping, in Loulé, and on the 16th and 17th of the same month, at the Albufeira Shopping, from 16 pm to 00 pm.
This summer campaign is promoted by the Instituto Português do Sangue e da Transplantação, and the collection is carried out within the mobile unit of this institute.
The main objective of this campaign is to obtain blood because during the «summer there is a lack of blood in Portuguese hospitals».
