The film “Leviano”, which was shot in the municipality of Loulé and brought together actors such as José Fidalgo, Anabela Teixeira and Ruben Rua, is scheduled to premiere this Sunday, July 8, at 19 pm, in the cinemas of Mar Shopping. 

“Leviano”, which premieres across the country this Thursday, “has a luxury cast,” says the Chamber of Loulé.

“In the most anticipated interview of the year, sisters Adelaide, Carolina and Júlia Paixão team up with their mother Anita to recount step-by-step the events that gave rise to a violent crime”, reads the synopsis.

A year earlier, the arrival of the three Silva brothers in town, Adelaide's secret and destructive relationship with her tennis teacher, and Anita's mysterious disappearance during her 50th birthday party were events that will change the course of their lives. forever.

Director Justin Amorim is a Portuguese-Canadian screenwriter and director currently living in Lisbon. He studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York where he completed a BFA in Film & Video and it was between New York, Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon where he worked for the last six years in short films, feature films, advertisements, video clips, for organizations like the Tribeca Film Festival and clients like Elle magazine, Melissa shoes and many others.

“Leviano” is his first feature film.

Diana Marquês Guerra, Anabela Teixeira, Alba Baptista, Mikaela Lupu, José Fidalgo, João Mota, Ruben Rua, Pedro Barroso, Alda Gomes, Vítor Silva Costa, Inês Aguiar and Joana Aguiar make up the cast.

The film had the support of the City Council, through the Loulé Film Office.
