Farense guaranteed the passage to the 2nd phase of the League Cup, after beating Penafiel, this Saturday, July 21, in Faro, in the penalty kick.
The game, which took place at the Estádio de São Luís, ended up tied to zero. The Algarve team imposed itself on the opponent in the marking of penalties, having accomplished five of them, against the four marked by Penafiel.
In the next round, Farense will face Estoril, also at the Estádio de São Luís. The game is scheduled for next Saturday, 29th of July. The winner guarantees the presence in the group stage of the League Cup, in which the four teams that will compete in the Final Four, scheduled for January, in Braga, are selected.
