Farense beat Marítimo 4-1, in the presentation game for partners and fans, played this Saturday, July 14, at Estádio de São Luís, in Faro.
The team of Faro, who will compete in the II League, was the first to score, after 22 minutes, through midfielder André Vieira.
Gamboa, from Marítimo, the club that plays in the I Division, tied the match a few minutes later, at 27.
In the second half, Portuguese international Jorge Ribeiro returned Farense to the lead (61 minutes). Pedro Kadri, at 67, increased the lead to 3-1.
The result was closed with a goal by Fábio Gomes, in the 83rd minute. Farense has the first official game scheduled for the 21st of July, against Penafiel, counting for the League Cup.
