easyJet started flying from Faro to Naples

After the connection to Milan Malpensa, the new operation to another Italian city began this Tuesday

easyJet, Europe's largest air transport network, has just inaugurated the second Italian route announced for the summer of 2018 in Faro. The Algarve city of Faro today inaugurated the connection to the city of Naples, which will have three weekly flights.

The first new route, Faro-Milan Malpensa, with two weekly flights, was inaugurated on June 1st, while the second route Faro-Naples, inaugurated this Tuesday, will have three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, in an exclusive operation for the summer period.

José Lopes, easyJet director for Portugal, highlights that “with these first Italian routes in Faro, easyJet in Portugal now offers flights to 21 airports in five countries. It is a clear demonstration of easyJet's contribution to the development of tourism in Portugal and, in this specific case, of the effort we have made to promote the Algarve and attract more and more tourists from different markets to this region of the country. We are delighted to continue to grow at this airport, helping the tourism sector to grow stronger year after year.”

easyJet has recently announced a new route for the winter calendar which will start on the 2nd of November. Faro-Manchester is easyJet's new route in the south of the country, with four weekly frequencies, which will operate until March 29, 2019.

With operations at the four main airports in Portugal, easyJet invites the Portuguese to prepare their next getaway or city ​​break from Lisbon, Porto, Faro or Wood. From national territory, the company offers 63 routes to 7 countries, in 33 different airports.
