“Chaminé D'Ouro” brings together young talents for a music festival in Portimão

This year the International Festival takes place at Alameda (Praça da República) in Portimão.

The 34th edition of the International Children's Song Festival “Chaminé D'Ouro” takes place this Saturday, July 21, at 21 pm, for the first time in Alameda (Praça da República) in Portimão.

This festival will receive children from all over the country, aged between 5 and 15, who will present eight new songs on stage, divided into two levels - children and youth and eight versions, which will be evaluated by a jury, which this year will feature with the presence of singer Gonçalo Mendes, who participated in The Voice Kids.

In an event that encourages the appearance of new talents, and which serves as a launching pad for those taking their first steps in the world of music, the Festival's children's choir will not be missing, composed of around 20 children, under the responsibility of conductor António Alves, who will accompany the participants.

The Festival's presentation will be in charge of Edmundo Inácio and Lurdes Carriçal. This event is organized by the Parish Council of Portimão, in partnership with Alvor FM.
