The Câmara de Tavira awarded support totaling 330 thousand euros to 36 cultural associations and sports clubs in the municipality.
The biggest share was for sports, an area in which 15 clubs were benefited, for which an amount of around 220 thousand euros was distributed.
109 thousand euros were earmarked for cultural and recreational associations, benefiting 21 structures.
According to the Câmara de Tavira, this support is intended to «support activities of municipal interest of a social, cultural, sporting, recreational nature or others of interest to the municipality that contribute to the development of the population's physical, intellectual and social condition».
