The Chamber of Aljezur, the General Secretariat for Internal Administration and the GNR signed, last Wednesday, June 20, a protocol of collaboration for the construction of the building that will house the Territorial Detachment and sub-detachment of Coastal Control of the GNR of Aljezur.

This work, which will cost 1,5 million euros, will be carried out by the Municipality of Aljezur, and the funds will be transferred from the Budget of the Ministry of Internal Administration.

In addition to signing the protocol, Isabel Oneto, Assistant Secretary of State and Internal Administration, chaired the meeting of the Local Security Council, which was attended by José Gonçalves, Mayor of Aljezur, Fátima Neto and António Carvalho, councilors, Manuel Cristo, President of the Municipal Assembly, Joaquim Crasto, GNR Territorial Commander, Ricardo Gonçalves, SEF Inspector and Mário Costa, Operational Commander of Aljezur Firefighters.

In this meeting, according to the Chamber, "various issues were addressed within the scope of the powers of this body."
