A 58-year-old woman died this Friday morning, May 18, after falling into a cistern in São Brás de Alportel.
The alert for the occurrence was given at 11:45 am and the GNR source said, to the Sul Informação, that it was the woman's son who found her lifeless.
According to the same source, "there is no evidence of crime".
At the site were 13 firefighters from São Brás, INEM and GNR, supported by five vehicles.
