Portimonense finished the XNUMXst League in the best way, with a 3-1 victory against Paços de Ferreira, this Sunday, 13 May. But, in addition to the triumph, this game represented the farewell of Ricardo Pessoa, captain of the Algarve, on the pitch. 

In the end, the emblematic Portimonense player was even taken on the shoulders by his teammates. NIn total, Ricardo Pessoa completed 12 seasons in the service of the Algarve. To mark the farewell, the captain was accompanied on the pitch by his son Rafael, as well as his family, teammates, SAD members and the technical team.

With the victory in the last round, Portimonense ended the season in 10th place, with 38 points, and next year will play in the I League again.
