The Mobile Citizen Space will tour the municipality of Lagos next Tuesday, 22 May, with stops in Luz, Odiáxere and Bensafrim, «to provide citizens of the most isolated populations with access to public services».

According to the AMA, the objectives of Espaço Cidadão Móvel are “to make available all the services contained in the Espaços Cidadão services catalog in face-to-face service (more than 140 services, from different public entities, as well as specific campaigns/services in areas of governance)'.
To achieve these goals, «vans equipped with computers and mobile connections were provided that will travel, during the months of May and June, through the districts of Bragança, Évora, Beja and Faro».
In the Algarve, the route will last for 4 weeks, passing through 67 parishes in 16 municipalities.
In the municipality of Lagos, the Espaço Cidadão Móvel will be in Luz, next to the market, between 10:00 and 11:00, in Odiáxere, in Largo da Liberdade, between 11:30 and 12:30, and in Bensafrim, at Largo do Mercado, between 14:00 and 15:00.
Espaço Cidadão Móvel will provide information and assistance related to the validation of invoices in the e-invoice and the delivery of the IRS, the renewal of the driver's license, Social Security benefits, booking and cancellation of appointments, change of address on the card of citizen.
In addition to these, "many other services" will be provided by the Ministry of Health, Caixa Geral de Aposentações, IMT, IEFP, Tax and Customs Authority, Agency for Administrative Modernization, Directorate General for the Administration of Justice and Social Security.
