The Dermatology Service of the University Hospital Center of the Algarve (CHUAlgarve) will join the Skin Cancer Day/Euromelanoma Day initiatives on the 16th and 17th of May with free screenings for the population in hospital units in Faro and Portimão.
Em Faro, the screening will take place on May 16 (Wednesday), at the Dermatology outpatient clinics (floor 2 – outpatient clinic building) and appointments must be made by calling 289001927.
At the Portimão unit, the screening will take place on the 17th, at the Dermatology outpatient consultation (floor 0), and registration must be made to the number 967 272 482.
As part of the 2018 Euromelanoma campaign, the initiative promoted by the Dermatology Service is the responsibility of the Portuguese Skin Cancer Association, with the scientific sponsorship of the Portuguese Society of Dermatology and Venereology and the General Directorate of Health.
