The “Operação Praia Limpa”, under the responsibility of Zoomarine, takes place on May 13, from 9:00 am, and will clean the beaches of Armação de Pêra and Praia Grande, in the municipality of Silves. Everyone can participate.
With a bathing season about to begin, «it is urgent to try to minimize the growing negative impacts of our species on marine ecosystems», says Zoomarine.
Thus, on May 13th, a week after the celebration of Mother's Day, and for the second consecutive year, in partnership with the Municipality of Silves and the “Aliança ODS Portugal”, Zoomarine is organizing another environmental event.
Created in conjunction with “Operação Montanha Verde”, “Operação Praia Limpa” is part of the environmental responsibility initiative “Together We Protect” and aims to remove the original debris along five kilometers of coastline and seabed. human (plastics, butts, cans, scraps of nets, parts of boats or appliances).
