An electronic music concert for babies and their parents will take place this Saturday morning, April 7th, in the Auditorium of the Loulé Secondary School, as part of the “Som Riscado” festival.

This will be an absolute debut of this format in the Algarve and the south of the country, with sessions at 10:00 am and 11:30 am.

The show is energized by the prestigious company “Musicalmente” and has the special guest Surma, one of the prominent figures in the current panorama of electronic music in Portugal.

Surma has just been confirmed for South By Southwest 2018. In this project by Débora Umbelino «keys, samplers, strings, voices and loop stations dominate in sounds that go from jazz to post-rock, from electronics to noise», he explains the Chamber of Loulé.

Also on Saturday (April 7), at 11:00 am, children and their families will be able to explore alternatives and sound and instrumental possibilities using elements such as electricity, electronics, electromagnetism, water, among many other unusual everyday objects in the interactive installation “Atlas of Utopian Instruments”, by the association Soncopia (Porto), headquartered in the Auditorium of the Convento do Espírito Santo. On Sunday, April 8, at 15 pm there is also a session for families.

Those interested in creating a "Balloon Orchestra" using the construction of "utopian" instruments may previously register for this training by calling 289 414 604 (Tuesday to Friday, from 13:00 pm to 18:00 pm) or by email cinereservas@cm- loule.pt.

The proposal and the adventure will be in charge of the same Porto artistic collective, Soncopia, taking place on April 8, between 10:00 and 13:00, in the Auditorium of the Convento do Espírito Santo.

Saturday and Sunday, between 10:00 am and 18:00 pm, this time at the Casa da Cultura de Loulé (CECAL, Municipal Park), both children and adults will be able to explore different audiovisual interfaces in the interactive installation “Non Human Device #04”, conceived and conceived by Boris Chimp 504. This is a “non-human” device that seems to have the characteristics of controlling a spacecraft in which they can travel through the universe of sound and image.

Access to the interactive facilities is free and entry to the electronic music concert for babies and their parents costs 5 euros, with no discounts applicable, requiring prior registration (limited). The pass for the five days of the festival has a promotional value of 15 euros.
