A 35-year-old British parachutist was injured this morning when the airstrip at the Municipal Aerodrome of Portimão failed.
Source of the District Relief Operations Command told the Sul Informação that the woman "landed in the vicinity of the aerodrome and was injured without seriousness". Even so, the victim “was transported to the Hospital of Portimão with suspicions of a sprain”.
Firefighters from Portimão were involved in relief operations, and the GNR was also called to the scene.
