Bonga is the best known name to the Portuguese public and will bring to Loulé «the genuine sounds of the African continent». The Angolan musician «began his career as an athlete, but soon discovered his true vocation, music: With more than 40 years of career, 30 albums published and having influenced several generations of musicians, Bonga embodies the true essence of “Angolanity” », says the Chamber of Loulé.

The Spaniard Vurro, on the other hand, “surrounds himself, on stage, with keyboards and wears an ox skull on his head, equipped, which gives him a knack for slamming drums on cymbals. Its sound is a kind of boogie, difficult to define twist. With a repertoire of original themes with a strong conceptual bovine influence, Vurro presents himself on stage with a contagious energy that is conducive to dementia dances», adds the MED Festival organizers.
