A concert in which the musician José Francisco invites Vitorino Salomé is scheduled for May 5, at 22 pm, at the Casa do Povo of Santo Estêvão (Tavira), as part of the “Serões da Primavera”

José Francisco, a musician from the parish of Santa Luzia, invites the singer from Alentejo to revisit their artistic repertoire.

Zé Francisco, a member of the Marenostrum group, edited his first album, through which he assumed the role of singer-songwriter, and continued his role as a storyteller linked to the sea, toil, nostalgia and love.

This edition of “Serões da Primavera” includes projects from different musical geographies that explore the sounds and singularities of pop, fado and electronic jazz.

This cycle consists of six concerts, between March and June, and aims to ensure regular programming in the Barrocal of the municipality of Tavira, from a perspective of decentralization and education for the arts.

This year, there will also be a concert by Minta & The Brook Trout (pop), on May 19th, as well as by Desidério Lázaro (jazz), on June 2nd.

“Serões da Primavera” is part of the “Viva a Primavera” program, promoted by the Municipality of Tavira with the support of cultural associations in the municipality. The cycle also has the support of the União de Freguesias da Luz and Santo Estêvão and the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve.
