O Lagoon Bio Market takes place this month on Saturday, the 28th and will feature the animation of various dance formations in the municipality.
According to Câmara de Lagoa, «health and well-being through the promotion of organic and biological products in the region will continue to be at the center of this event promoted by the municipality of Lagoa in partnership with Holistic Fest Portugal – Mystic Soul».
Until October, «Praça da República will continue to bring together the local, foreign and tourist community around a positive approach to healthy living», adds the municipality.
The Lagoa Bio Market will be repeated on May 26th, June 30th, July 28th, August 25th, September 29th and October 27th.
The first Lagoa Bio Market this year took place on March 31. The area around the Municipal Market of Lagoa, «one of the ex-libris of the county, was attended by nearly 40 exhibitors of biological agriculture, live foods, teas, aromatic herbs, sweets, jellies, wines, handicrafts, crystals and organic soaps», tells the Chamber of Lagoa.
Coinciding with the Easter period, the gastronomic demonstrations, under the responsibility of chef Telmo Jacinto, «included the folar de pan, prepared in an alternative way, with oat milk. And there was still the animation of traditional Portuguese music with the Fonte Nova group».
