The 1st Street Basket Tournament – Converse takes place on May 14st, from 30:XNUMX pm, at Praça da Pontinha, in Faro.
This is an initiative organized by the Union of Parishes of Faro, Algarve Basketball Association, Optimax and Baixa de Faro, with the high sponsorship of Converse Eyewear and the support of Farense and CF Os Bonjoanenses.
All fans of the sport are invited to participate.
This is a tournament that recovers the famous competition of street basketball which for many years boosted street basketball in Portuguese cities and a youthful and urban image of the sport.
Entries are free and can be made via the appropriate form, until 12:00 on April 30th, here The teams must be mixed and the competitive framework has four levels (Infants, Beginners, Seniors and Veterans).
The winners of the respective classes will be awarded with sunglasses from the Converse brand and the runners-up with backpacks also from the Converse brand. The remaining participants receive participation prizes.
