The Cataplay performance, where cataplana and performing arts come together, will be this Sunday, April 8th, at 18 pm, at the Municipal Museum of Faro. The session is spoken in Portuguese and subtitled in English.

Mário Spencer and Tânia Silva go back to dressing the roles of Famed Al-Chef and Cook Marafada and discussing with each other recipes of life and society, while revealing the secrets of the cataplana. At the end, the public will be able to taste a dish made in this very Algarvean utensil, which will be prepared during the show, accompanied by wine from the region.

Tickets for adults, which include the gastronomic experience, cost 10 euros. Children have a discount, as well as tickets for families and groups.

Cataplay is promoted by Tertúlia Algarvia, with the support of the “365Algarve” program.
