Ryanair delivered a check for 30 euros to Refúgio Aboim Ascensão, this Thursday. The amount surprised the Children's Emergency Reception Center of Faro.
As the airline explains, Refúgio Aboim Ascenção is “the latest in a series of institutions to be supported by Ryanair's “Fly to Win” scratch cards.
Carla Pargana, responsible for collecting donations at Refúgio Aboim Ascenção, said that “we were quite surprised by the amount of the donation since our budget is supported by the kindness of all of you, and it will be really useful for the lives of our little children. We are truly grateful to all Ryanair employees for their hard work and for supporting us in this way. It was a very pleasant visit. You are always welcome!».
For his part, Aoife Greene, Ryanair's retail manager, says that it is “with great pleasure that Ryanair continues to support Refúgio Aboim Ascensão, with whom we have had a relationship for over three years. Our crew supports with great affection the work carried out by this institution. Refúgio Aboim Ascensão is one of several institutions across Europe that Ryanair continuously supports with donations from the sale of its scratchcards, where our customers are able to win fantastic prizes while supporting various causes of great merit».
