The Festa dos Folares, in honor of Nossa Senhora da Graça, takes place on Sunday, April 8, in the village of Querença (Loulé).
The event, however, starts the day before, Saturday, with a “folar ball” at 21 pm, animated by the accordionist Nelson Duarte, in the Casa do Povo de Querença party room.
On Sunday, the 8th, at 15 pm, the party starts with a religious celebration.
In addition to the Eucharist, there will be a procession with the image of Nossa Senhora da Graça, followed by an auction of offerings and toads.
From 17:00 onwards, there is also food and drink with typical delicacies of the region at Largo da Igreja de Querença.
During the afternoon, face painting and balloon modeling will also be possible with the Satori artistic association. At 17:30 pm, a traditional Portuguese musical concert with Afonso Dias and friends takes place.
This is an initiative promoted by the Festas Committee of the Parish of Querença, with the support of the Union of Parishes of Querença, Tôr and Benafim and the Municipality of Loulé.
