O Camellia Festival is back to Monchique to show the beauty of this flower and liven up this municipality in the interior of the Algarve. Caldas de Monchique was the place chosen to host the 4th edition of the event, which follows the lines of the previous ones, but has some new features.
In 2018, in addition to the camellia show, the central element of the festival, the Monchique Chamber, which organizes the event, also bet on the performing arts, to give (even) more color to the initiative.
Also popular is the Camellia Route, a walking tour in search of the most beautiful flowers in the gardens, public and private, in Monchique, which this year takes place in a peddy paper version.
From the last edition, the exhibition of handicrafts and sweets and the items “Ilustra-te” and “Festival Comvida” are still maintained.
