The Inter-Vivos association will create a sports park next to its headquarters, in Martinlongo, with the support of the Alcoutim Council.
According to the local authority, this work "aimed at improving and beautifying the existing physical space, but mainly to create more and better conditions for sports, providing for the creation of a park consisting of equipment for initiation into maintenance sports".
«By itself, the association, which has been developing a meritorious work in the area of sports promotion, does not have the financial means to fund the new infrastructure», stated Osvaldo Gonçalves, president of the Chamber of Alcoutim.
The alcoutenejo mayor sees in the future equipment «an added value for the population residing in the municipality of Alcoutim, as it promotes healthy lifestyle habits».
