Startup Portimão provides free training to entrepreneurs

Startup Portimão will give, from February 19th, free training to all entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs who wish to develop their idea, project or business. 

The 1st Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, in the context of which these trainings take place, starts on the 19th of February and has received more than three dozen applications in areas related to the “Smart Cities”, such as mobility, tourism, governance, quality of life, but also some specific projects a little further away from this area of predefined performance for the incubator.

The eleven projects selected for Bootcamp cover areas such as augmented reality, new proposals for urban regeneration and forms of recycling.

After the completion of applications and selection, Startup Portimão now opens enrollment to the public for some of the training modules that include topics such as "Entrepreneurship and Business Model Canvas" (on February 19th), "Design Thinking and Marketing", on February 21st, “Team Leadership and Management”, on the 23rd, “Finance for Entrepreneurs”, on the 26th of February, and “How to make a Pitch”, on the 1st of March.

Anyone interested can watch for free, upon registration. here, to one or more modules that take place in Startup Portimão's facilities in the morning (10:00-13:00).

Opened in In August of last year, the business incubator of the Municipality of Portimão is located at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve and intends to support and boost projects in the areas of energy, mobility, tourism, governance and quality of life.

The bootcamp and training sessions are carried out in partnership with the Creative Territories, responsible for promoting it and also with the support of the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.

Creative Territories: develops and implements territorial and organizational dynamization projects, based on entrepreneurship.

The main areas of intervention are based on consultancy, implementation of projects and training programs and promotion of business incubators throughout the country.
