The first edition of the “Thinking Faro”, which will have as its theme the history and cultural heritage of the Algarve capital, takes place on the 9th and 10th of March, at the Algarve Hotel and Tourism School.

According to Bruno Lage, president of the União das Freguesias de Faro, this forum “will have the participation of 16 speakers (teachers, researchers, cultural managers and entrepreneurs) who will address various issues related to the history of Faro and the enhancement and safeguarding of its cultural heritage”.

The Parish Union of Faro organizes this scientific and cultural meeting that “intends to promote a debate around multiple issues related to the past, present and future of the Algarve capital”.

Inserted within the scope of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, this initiative promoted by the Union of Parishes of Faro has free entry, but registration is required.

Those interested in participating will be able to obtain more information, consult the program and make their registration here or contact their services via email [email protected] or by phone 289889760.
